Forms
Forms can be very helpful to your classroom management, as well as to your email inbox! Publishing or hyperlinking your email address on a public web site can open yourself up to an enormous amount of spam. Plus, the hyperlink won't work properly if the end user has not set up their default email client correctly (and many do not).
Assignments
Weebly for Education allows teachers to embed a form that lets students submit assignments by uploading them to the site. This is a very nice feature. However, I am not a fan of it, and I hesitate to offer recommendation. Anything could be in that uploaded file, and opening it could make both your computer and potentially your school's network vulnerable. Check with your school or district's Network Administrator for guidance on using this element. We will not be covering the use of this element in this course due to those potential risks. The final decision and the assumption of all associated risks is entirely up to you.
